2nd Grade Homework - August 20-24, 2012

Welcome to Dozier 2nd Grade!  We will have a great year learning and exploring together.  This is our homework calendar and it is sent home each Friday in the homework folder.  It is designed to let you know the homework assignments for the week, what we are learning, and special projects and events.  Parents, please check the homework folder each night.

 

Please go through and sign the papers included in the information packets.  Please return the packets no later than Wednesday.

Reading:  Read 20 minutes and sign the Reading log

Math:  Wednesday - School-Home Letter gives you information about what we will be learning during each chapter.  Use the activities at home to enrich your student's knowledge.  Complete the worksheet.

           Thursday - Complete worksheet.

 

Social Studies:  Unit 2 page 43.  Test on oceans and continents next week.

  Monday:  Cover the book with the book cover provided.

 Tuesday :  Use each vocabulary word in a sentence.  Words are listed on pages 44, 45.

Wednesday:  Practice reading and identifying the 7 continents on page 61.

Thursday:  Practice reading and identifying the 4 oceans on page 61.
